CCREF Will Welcome New Trustee to its Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees for the Composting Council Research & Education Foundation (CCREF) will welcome new Trustee Dr. David Weindorf starting in January 2019. Dr. Weindorf's application was chosen from a number of highly qualified candidates interested in joining the Foundation Board.
Dr. Weindorf is a Professor and BL Allen Endowed Chair of Pedology in the Department of Plant and Soil Science and Research Faculty Fellow in the Office of the Vice President for Research at Texas Tech University. Dr. Weindorf has extensive experience in compost research, starting with his doctoral research project which focused on the impacts of compost application on soil physical properties.
Although new to the CCREF Board of Trustees, Dr. Weindorf has volunteered his time to the organization since 2013 as one of the Foundation's Advisors, sharing his experience and guidance when needed.
